Praise the LORD!
My wife, Leetta, and I have been working to be able to purchase a home, and yesterday, we really ran into some roadblocks. But at the same time, we know what we are up against, and there are only a few issues to resolve.  Well, praise God, we are working together and getting those items taken care of this very day! We could have 3 of the 5 items resolved today!  The IRS sent us a letter telling us we did not send them one certain form, but, when we look at our copy of the tax papers, there it is, right on top! We know it had been sent, just like it has been sent each year for the last 4 years that our tax-preparers have been doing our taxes. They print out 2 copies, put one in the IRS envelope, and the other in our keep safe envelope, and voila!

We have two homes in mind, and either of them would be wonderful. Each has pros and cons: size, utilities, yard, mortgage, what one lacks the other has, but we would be able to enjoy either one.  The pastor who owns the smaller house prayed with Leetta when she called to tell him about the delay we had run into.  Then, Leetta and I were just speaking on the phone and God planted a thought in me which He did not do last night, and Leetta does a quick search and finds the IRS paperwork which they claim that they did not receive. True on NOT, we have it and can get it to them right away!  That will allow us to get the mortgage company to work for us, getting rid of a duplicate negative off of our credit report ( state of NM filed something twice, we paid it off 5 years ago, and they only removed it once ) and then get working on the mortgage itself!

Anyway, God be praised! He has moved on our behalf yet again! LORD, please, let me continue to follow your lead. Let me remain humble, because being humbled is painful, and I would rather remain in your good graces than have to be chastised into returning. All of the glory is yours, my LORD!
